Westjustice Advocating For Digital Inclusion
Last week, Westjustice participated in the Australian Communications Consumers Action Network (ACCAN) annual ACCANect Conference, which brought together key stakeholders from the communications industry. Members of our Economic Justice team spoke about digital exclusion issues faced by our clients over COVID. With many services immediately transitioning to online services only, many people in Melbourne’s West found it difficult to navigate these services, or didn’t have the necessary technology and Internet access to do so. As such, our team continues to advocate for affordable, accessible and inclusive telecommunications for all.
